Nope. It's always just a name to us--often an actual person's name, like the Founder of the Lightning Knights or someone responsible for the motto diametrically opposed to Fear's name, but sometimes a place name like in the Bible.

Well, not of course that we ever undertake dire copyright violations such as ep sharing, but
http://ace-lightning.livejournal.com/tag/episodes might have something going on that I know absolutely nothing about. ;) (It's such a pity the eps weren't released on DVD. A friend of mine did find the first twenty-six episodes, apparently made in Asia, and sent it on to me; I'm in the process of, um, making backup copies.)

Didn't the first season at least come out on DVD? I swear I saw a few on ebay once upon a time.

Yes, but it wasn't widely released. I was only able to find the first seven episodes (I'm Australian), but I think the friend who sent the first season got it off Ebay.
