Title: Yearbook
Description: What would it say?
Kitty - August 8, 2006 12:58 PM (GMT)
Hmm.... Just having another one of my random thoughts. Say there was a Lightning Knight academy and lets go even weirder, say there was also an Evil academy. What would the yearbooks say about the CGI characters? Like would they say that this person had a trillion friends, or was a total nerd, or an over-achiever in the debating team (Yeah right). I hope I make sense. Also, what would the school's year book say about the non CGI characters? Hmmm...... I don't have any idea. Oh, lets add another part. You know how they have those 'most annoying' 'biggest mouth' 'Femme Fatale' 'Mary Sue (Tee hee)' awards? What awards would the characters get?
Sarah Frost - August 8, 2006 02:18 PM (GMT)
Hee, this could be funny. :D
Lightning Academy:
Ace Lightning. President of chess team, secretary for Student Council, second fullback in electro-ball team, dance club, aikido club, undergraduate tutor, yearbook committee, volunteer for "Static Kids In Need", class salutatorian. Voted: "Most Conscientious", "Most Likely To Succeed", "Most Likely To Die A Virgin". (Principal's comment: One of our most exceptional students in every respect.)
Sparx. Gold medalist in fencing club. Voted: "Most Outrageous," "Shortest Attention Span," "Most Likely To Die In An Explosion Destroying The Entire City". (Principal's comment: I'm frankly still in shock she managed to get the academic credits and the conduct mark to graduate. However, she received top grades in the final field examination.)
Madame Morningstar's Finishing School For Young Ladies:
LI. Valedictorian. (Principal's comment: Quiet. Too quiet. Appears to be competent in spite of Professor Mephistopheles' evident bias.)
Baron Darkness's Academy of Higher Sorcery:
Fear. Dungeons and Dragons club, soprano in school choir, salutatorian. Voted: "Most Vain", "Least Social", "Most Likely To Die From A Hero." Principal's comment: Student displays a melodramatic and inflated sense of self-importance, however at his young age may have a chance to grow into his abilities and chosen name.)
(LI doesn't strike me as the most-popular-girl-in-school-type. Bit too abrasive and independent. :P)

Well, why don’t we try giving them a grading system. Something like this, perhaps:
Grades (in order of decent):
L – Lightning Bolt (equivalent to Our A)
B –Bolt (equivalent to our B)
S – Static (Equivalent to our C)
F - friction (Equivalent to our F)
* - High
Name: Amandine Prescott; Grade: Junior Cadet
Fencing: L* “Teacher’s are impressed by her, junior’s look up to her, adult senior cadets have a tendency to avoid her in the fencing arena. Now, if she could just master tact and self control we’d be onto a Dimensional Series Games Finalist. – Professor Synapses.
Required Combat Sport: B* “Has yet to learn not to retaliate against unfair tackles. Our senior Hoverball player is still requiring power boost charges on a weekly basis.”. – Tutor Graveton.”
Target/Aiming Rehearsals: B* []I]“keeps hitting the cardboard cut outs of innocent civilians… but in her own words, at least she hits them precisely. Strongly advise taking her off the wrist cannons for a few years.” – Officer Grander. [/i]
History of the Sixth Dimension: F “Shows great… imagination. Wiould do better if she applied herself more and at least attemted to stay conscious/arrive on time/leave her sword behind once in a while” - Sgt. Quantum, Tutor[/i]
The Internal measures and symbolism of the Knight’s Code (Code Class): F “A plastic insulator has more force than Amandine in this particular subject.” - Sgt. Helix, senior Tutor
Extra-Dimensional Theory: S “Has the attention span of a Lightning Mole that has come into contact with a Wheezing Weed’s Poison Spores.” – Professor Z
Mathematical Elaboration: S “Usually arrives in class looking more depolarised than a busted anti-grav frequency-modulating unit” - Sgt. Quantum, Tutor
Electrical Engineering: B “Blows things up, occasionally, but shows promise as an emergency high-speed repair artist. Still do not trust her with the a-grav units. I advise her next tutor to do the same.” Amanda Bolt, Head Engineer.
Flight: L – “Could fly a Lightning Flash through the gap in your two front teeth.” Officer Atmos
Power Control: S*“Has yet to appreciate the finer qualities of , always the last to get rid of her static drainage, but you can’t dislike her enthusiasm.” Officer Graveton

^_^ Squeeee! Very Sparx, very amusing. Especially like "Has yet to learn not to retaliate against unfair tackles." and the various similies.

Profiles for the characters if they were still in high school.
Ace Lightning
The top student in the school. Has recently become very emotional in this year as his girlfriend, Miss. L. Illusion broke up with him for Kevin Kilobyte. He is a well-behaved student and a heroic person. Good in sports and the president of the chess club. Came last place in the table tennis championship, which sadly got him suspended for throwing the bat at a teacher. He was continously bullied by Kilobyte for several months until he and Wolfgang Fear teamed up and beat Kilobyte in a discovered fight at the end of the year. Ace left school early when Miss Illusion was badly wounded by Fear and put in hospital.
Grade: A+
Sparx Electron
A top ranking like Ace, but a bit of troublemaker. She was off sick for the first term but returned shortly after Lightning was dumped by Miss Illusion. Sparx got the gold medal in the fencing club and got first place in the javelin in sports day. Dropped out of the table tennis championship after failing her required killer serve. Got into several fights with Miss Illusion and was eventually suspeneded briefly. She ended the year quite well, but accused Miss Illusion of cheating in one exam.
Grade: A
Random Virus
A trouble lad who has had a troubled past and is sadly giving in to his multiple personalitt disorder and is occasionally having emotional swings and wrecking the school. He was taken into intensive care for several months and briefly was part of Kilobyte's gang but defected. When not trouble by his illness, he is a good working student with a look of becoming an engineer or a electrician. Random is kidnapped briefly by Kilobyte at the end of the year but was rescued by the authorities. He has left the school to go into therapy for several months.
Grade: C
Lavender Illusion
A popular girl in school but a troublemaker all the same. Lavender is a top student in biology, but has recently been causing trouble. She has broken up with top student Ace Lightning and has been causing trouble alongside Kevin Kilobyte. After many months of causing trouble for other students, Lavender stopped a fight between Ace and Kevin but as a result was badly wounded by Wolfgang Fear and was whisked to hospital. We have been told she is making recovery and hope her grade will as well.
Grade: D
Wolfgang Fear
Suspended at the end of last year for property damage, Wolfgang returned with a new course to redeem himself. He did well in music lessons and has become a marvel in the golf club. His old friends one by one befriended him and he became good student. When exchange student Kilobyte showed up, Wolfgang returned to his bad ways and started harming other students and was known by one our science teachers to buying drugs off the black market. Wolfgang was also seen riding around the grounds on a motorbike. Wolfgang and his friend Dandy "Dirty" Rat witnessed the fight between Ace Lightning and Kilobyte. Fear was known to be armed with a gun which he would use to shoot Kilobyte, but he missed and shot Lavender Illusion instead. He and Dandy are now on the run and expected not to return for their final year.
Grade: Ungraded
Kevin Kilobyte
An exchange student who was a hard-tempered bully and drug addict. He dated Lavender Illusion briefly and bullied practically everybody in the school. Dandy Rat became his lackey for a time, occassionally being beaten up and once digging up the school field to retrieve a necklace. He trapped his step-father, Rick Hubble, one of our ICT technicians and Mr. Cheseborough, a science teacher, in the school basement and kidnapped several students to get more drugs. Ace Lightning fought him and beat him, Kilobyte getting arrested and expelled.
Grade: Ungraded
I will do the minions tomorrow.

...That's not a bad start for a high school AU, Rotgut, though I find the pieced-together names very distracting. But teachers don't comment on their students' love lives in reports or talk extensively about other students, Sparx in an academic setting is more likely to be a C-student and poster child for ADD, and I think LI would do a lot better than 'D' in an academic environment.

I can see sparx failing a few thigns she hates with D's, but sarah's right, RG.

Good work, Scarab, but I can't see the last two cause they have gateway timeouts on them. Do you think you could sort them out so I can see them, please? Where did you get them from - I feel like doing one for Ace or Random.
Scarab Dynasty - August 17, 2006 03:39 PM (GMT)
