Title: Fanfic Theories
Description: for the posting of theories used in fic

we;ve had a lot of theories buzzing around and many of them have found their way into the fanfic we write, many of them bizzare. Examples are the multiples theories for Randoms good/evil complex, Sarah Frost's Lolita theory for Kat, the CGI's = alternate reality versions of the mortals, Ace-Mark, LI-Sam, Chuck-Random, the Fred-Rick theory and even the good old: why DOES Ace hate gnomes so much, anyway? idea.

Your theories don't have to be complete or without flaws (in fact flaws are good for analysation purposes) but they must at least in some way, be committed to paper/screen and have some basis in subtext and meta or, indeed, canon or popularly assumed fanon at a push, - this is a place which might be better meta and theology, rather than just random, unfounded fic "ideas".

To kick off, in response to H's comment on my Seasons drabble:

QUOTE
I'm guessing Random is messing up the... dimensional physics or something? I'd be interested to hear your exact reasoning behind that... if there was any, 'cause I think I got some of it, I'm guessing tied to the good/evil and real/not real dimensions... well if there was any reasoning, tell me, because what I got (or imagined  ) was cool.

Basically, H hit the nail on the head with that: Random’s part of a very complex environment now, along with all the other CGI’s without their realising it, their two worlds (one natural, another fictional and manmade) are entirely interlinked. The real world, just like the 6D, has an effect upon every one of them. They interact with both realities. Therefore when Random turns to Eternity or some other extrenal means (as is not fully explained in the fic) to separate his good and evil, he separated an innate internal connection within himself that was not suppsoed to be seperated so abruptly, and in that style. By changing the rules for him, Eternity has broken the system combining the two worlds together; the fabric of reality is disrupted, and therefore begins to break down. Hence disaster for both worlds. And all started because one person broke the rules of a newly fledging reality. Unwafflised version of that? Basically Random broke the rules and thinks got mucked up :P

I have rather cool mental images (courtesy of H again) with Random's good and evil taking to each side of the world - his evil part of the 6D and Random part of the RW... ooh the complex reality and existence-related theories are bouncing around my head like jackrabbits on caffine ^_^

Thankyou! That makes nice sense now that you've explained it. In the fic it looked a little like Random defeating his evil would 'cause the worlds to explode or whatever. :P That would not be good. But then I supposed ideas get a little squooshed when being shoved into drabble sized fics (and I'm still disturbed by that hubcap dammit! ).

If Random's sides went to different parts of the world (whether this is more... mental seperation or physical [more cool mental images for the physical :D ] seperation) I'd be more inclined to connect his evil with the RW... unless he intentionally shoved his evil to 6D out of the way... and somehow got the rest of him stuck (... perhaps in the internet? :D ).

This is why I like you people, you give me good ideas :P

H, I'm starting to see the appeal in slicing someone open with a rusty hubcap...
