This should be interetsing, and fairly simple to do, for those of us who are running out of time on the Xmas thing and still aren’t sure what they’re doing. Doing it WELL, however, might be trickier.

The Ace Substitution Game

Take your favourite scene from any book/movie/play/whatever and rewrite it with the Ace characters in the roles. No taking the easy route, now. No copying word-for-word.

How you go about this is entirely up to you. You can make it parody or serious and in any genre. The only rule is that you stick to the basic plot of that scene/story as closely as you possibly can, while at the same time, not simply cutting and pasting Ace character names over the orginal characters – you have to rewrite it, which is why it might be better to use a scene from a movie or TV show rather than a book where the temptation to just mimic is higher. You can make it a parody (greatly appreciated) or an AU if that makes it easier to fit that scene but I'm sure we’ll be impessed if you can work well with what we’ve got.

You can write more than just a scene, if you wish.
