Hiya people. While browsing this site today, I noticed that there are two members on this board who have not validated their accounts. Which naturally means they aren't able to post.

These people may be confused about how to do this, if you have joined and are are wondering why you aren’t yet able to post on the site. I’ll let you know –

When you joined the site you should have received a confirmation email in your email inboxes. Contained in these emails is a link – which you must copy and past into the address box this will take you to a screen and activate your account. I expect you still have these emails if you recieved them. If you didn't... well, just try and join again :)

No worries. There’s always someone who forgets to do that and activate their account. Hope to see all of you soon. :D

And if not, we can request you are deleted. There is nothing more annoying for an admin than to have a username taken up by someone who doesn't even bother validating their account!

Good point both... but Rotgut, please don't scare away the potential new members :P

I think that members who don't validate their account should get deleted within 90 days. I might change that to 30 days. If they don't validate their email address in a month they're probably not going to at all.

Oh... that's a shame :(
