Title: The Eternity Theory
Description: It's shaky, but take a look nonetheless

I began this explanation in the OC’s section and would like to explore the theory more in depth.

Now we all remember the beginning of Episode one, Series One: “The Game Begins.” If I recall rightly, we had Mark entering an unknown level in his copy of the Ace Lightning videogame: “level seven”, and that level giving access to the data which would make Ace Lightning and the other characters “real”.

I created the OC, Eternity for use in a fic, and as I said, she “is a being of immense power, who at the same time has no power at all. She exists in the between-place between the worlds and can see all of time in all the dimensions, but influence nothing around her.”

In that fic, her attempted murder resulted in the destruction of an entire dimension – namely, the one which made up level seven. This is shaky and would assume that the level seven of the videogame consists of an entire world and is not just a segment of a realm within the game. Mark DID remark that he had “never heard f level seven”.

Now this is where the theory gets really shaky – the theory is that, when the electricity of the lightning bolt dispersed through the Hollander household, it created vast shockwaves. Eternity, damaged and missing a dimension, but alive, was forced to uproot the Sixt hand the Third dimensions and use them to craft a whole new world, and establish it in the hole where the seventh used to be. So in effect Mark’s world and Ace’s world were both copied and thrown together to create a new dimension.

They don’t know it, but their entire civilisation and reality has been uprooted, copied and placed in the void where Level (or dimension) seven used to be. This means there are still two worlds in existence which are not connected to the one in which the humans AND the CGI’s exist. They are in fact, in another reality. While back in the third dimension Mark and the other humans lives go on as normal, and in the Sixth dimension, the same happens to Ace and the others. In the seventh dimension, another Ace and Mark and Sparx and Kat etc, coexist in an intermediate world.

This throws ideas up for a few of our Gameverse theories. Including Sarah’s (currently proved false) theory that the characters in one world are in fact, the sixth dimensional equivalents of people on earth – Mark=Ace, Sam=LI, Heather=Sparx, etc.

I know that’s kind of weird, but any thoughts people?

Being 'thrown together to create a new dimension' doesn't answer for the 'game in one, real world in another' thing, but it's an interesting theory. Kudos, Scarab. :)

Thank you :)

It depends, I think - if Level/Dimension Seven was created as a means via which both reality beings could exist in the same reality, then it's sort of an intermediary between the two worlds. Say for example, they replicated the human world and the memories and pasts of the people in that world, while introducing the people of the sixth dimension as a game - who's characters then became real... works... sort of
