Pizza Pizza
Watch out for that little dude's pitch fork thingie . . .
Matthew - May 18, 2007 09:47 PM (GMT)
Allowing his eyes to wander over the other people in the small corner of the food court; Matt pulls a hand through his dirty-blonde hair. His fingers move slowly through it, neatening out the locks which are left damp from the falling snow. Placing his arm back down onto the table in front of him, Matthew picks up the small drink container he’d purchased just moments before. Lifting it up towards his chin he sucks on the straw slowly, allowing the cold fizzy beverage to move down his throat, leaving a cool refreshing feeling behind. (Oh, I needed that…) The Elemental muses to himself, allowing a sigh to escape from his lips before he places the cup back down onto the table.
Jonathon Matthews - May 18, 2007 11:35 PM (GMT)
Jonathon makes his way across the restaurant to where his boyfriend’s sitting down next to him, sliding his arm around Matt’s shoulders and gently kissing him on the cheek, pressing his cold nose to his boyfriend’s face. He takes off his beanie hat and gloves, shoving them into his bag which he sets down on the floor next to him. He slips off his jacket and breathes in the warm air of the food court.
“Sorry I’m late, snow made everyone on the roads a little bit crazy.”
The fire elemental reaches up and runs his hands through Matt’s hair, messing it up and making it look more... normal... well, normal for Matt anyway. He pulls his hands back and admires his work, successfully styling Matthew’s hair. Much better.
“I hope you weren’t waiting too long, you know what it’s like when the roads get icy, everyone drives like they’re 90 and drunk.”
Matthew - May 19, 2007 12:11 PM (GMT)
Matt’s eyes light up as he spots his devilishly handsome boyfriend appear. His dark blue orbs follow the fellow elemental as he makes his way towards him, flicking over his body with glee. “Well Hello there stranger…” Matthew greets the taller man with a wide grin, feeling the coldness of Jonathon’s nose more than anything press against his bare skin.
(Gah…I hate the cold) The Earth Elemental moans internally, though his face shows much more appreciation for the kiss than anything. He allows the man to mess on with his hair, styling it in a much better way than he ever could. It’s not that Matt doesn’t try, but no matter what he does his hair always seems rather unkempt. (I thought that would be what was holding him up…crappy weather. I wish we could just fast forward to summer already)
“No, its ok, I haven’t been here long…Just got myself a drink and a slice of pizza to keep myself occupied” Matthew explains, gesturing to his near empty cup and his plate where still half a slice of Pizza lays. “I left you some…thought you might be a bit hungry with the cold and all…”
Suddenly however, a small beeping noise emits from the witch’s watch. This is when a thought smacks Matt right in the face. (My Interview!) The thought screams through his head, having completely forgotten about it. The snow, cold weather, frustrating people driving on the streets and of course thoughts about his hottie of a boyfriend having clogged his mind.
“Shit. I’ve gotta go, I totally forgot about my interview” Matthew gasps, an undercurrent of frustration in his voice. “I shouldn’t be long…I’ll come and find you when I’m done” He kisses Jonathon on the cheek, winking apologetically at him as he does so. (By the Gods I’m so stupid…) Matt scolds himself internally as he rushes off into the main part of the mall.
Jonathon Matthews - July 13, 2007 09:41 PM (GMT)
Jonathon still sits at his table that Matthew had left him out, he’d finished the food and drink that Matthew had left him, and he’s sat there ever since, just watching the people go about their business, waiting for Matthew to return. In the last few months Jonathon has noticed a change come over Matt, he’s grown up a lot since All Hallows Eve. Maybe Taylor’s death had something to do with it, or maybe it just happened because it was meant to, but either way the change hasn’t gone unnoticed or unappreciated.
Matthew - July 27, 2007 08:12 PM (GMT)
Entering into the food court, Matthew tucks the conjured mirror into his coat pocket, not sure how Jon would take him using magic for such personal gain. To Matt it’s no biggie, he does a lot for people in his opinion, he’s very nice and friendly and he always holds doors open for people. What’s wrong with getting something back? He deserves it.
The Earth Elemental sneaks up behind Jon, taking care not to step too loudly. Then in touching distance, the blonde’s hands wrap themselves gently around his lover’s head, parking themselves over his eyes. “Guess who?...” Matt teases, muffling his voice so that he doesn’t sound so familiar.
Jonathon Matthews - August 13, 2007 06:56 PM (GMT)
Jonathon smiles as he feels the hands cover his eyes. The poorly disguised voice gives it away immediately. He reaches up and pulls the hands down and kisses the fingertips. He turns himself around and greets Matt with a smile, linking his fingers through Matt’s own and pulling him around and into the seat next to him.
“So… how’d it go?” he asks, regarding Matt’s interview that he was almost late for. He assumes that Matt made it on time. He has no idea that Matt’s been casting spells for personal gain, there’s no way he’d be smiling or holding Matt’s hand, but Matt hasn’t let that one slip yet. He lets his hand drop down into the space between the two chairs, still holding Matt’s hand in his, their fingers linked together.
Matthew - August 31, 2007 04:32 PM (GMT)
Matthew frowns slightly when Jonathon isn’t even slightly fazed by his attempt to sneak up on him. (He knows me too well…) The Elemental muses, his usual cheery grin returning immediately.
“It went….” The man teases, dragging his answer out to build a little suspense. He sits on the chair next to Jon, his eyes gaining a tint of excitement. “Great!” (Well a little odder than I expected with that conjured demon attack…but still good. I got it after all)
“I start at eight tonight. I may even be able to get you discount drinks if you’re lucky” (There has to be some perks to working in a club)
Jonathon Matthews - September 16, 2007 09:58 AM (GMT)
“It went… great.”
Jonathon smiles and leans over to wrap his arms around his boyfriend. He places a quick kiss on Matt’s cheek before pulling back to sit in his seat properly again. He can’t help the feeling of pride he gets from seeing Matthew with a full time job. A few months ago, Matt wouldn’t have even thought of getting a job, but now, he’s a full on working man.
“Congratulations,” he says, with a huge smile spread across his face, he knows that he’s smiling like a complete total idiot, but he can’t help it. He opens his mouth to ask when Matt starts, but the blonde beats him to it.
“I start at eight tonight. I may even be able to get you discount drinks if you’re lucky.”
“Oh yeah? And what am I gonna have to do to get lucky?” he asks with a cheeky grin.
Matthew - October 24, 2007 07:33 PM (GMT)
“Satisfy my every need…” Matthew replies with a grin matching Jonathon’s. His tone is seeping with suggestion, using this as the prefect opportunity to get the fire witch right where he wants him. Not that he needs much of an excuse, he’s used to getting his way with the man from the word go.
(Though I’d want that to happen even if I didn’t get the job…) Matt muses lightly, his hand slipping into his boyfriend’s. He can see how proud he is of him. He’s pleased, very pleased. For awhile now the Elemental has felt that he needed to grow up a little, take things more seriously and get his life moving in the direction he wants it to. He can’t be the loveable goof that he is forever.
“Sound like a deal?” (It better!)
Higher Power - November 24, 2007 02:45 AM (GMT)
One hour has passed. Jon and Matthew have been informed of the situation with Jewel via cell phone call from Lilith. They have joined the rest of the group at Twin Magic.
