Aethen appears in his living room in a cloud of white smoke. He walks over to the cupboard in the corner of his living room and begins taking out everything that’s in there. He takes a last look at the apartment that has become his home in the last few months. He assumes that he’d miss the place, but then again, he doesn’t really know. He carries all of the supplies into the centre of the livingroom.
It’s better this way. I can help mom, and save myself from having to do any of this.
He sits cross legged on the floor and closes his eyes. He meditates, clearing his mind of all mortal concerns, allowing himself to think clearly about the whole ritual he’s about to perform. After a few minutes, he opens his eyes and begins the long and complicated ritual which would, when completed, claim his life and give Lisa and baby Aethen powerful, magical protection.
So mote it be.
With the end of the spell, Aethen's body is enveloped in a flash of white light and it disappears, all of his personal posessions disappear, leaving no trace of the young man.
