Front Porch

Elara Bronté - May 14, 2007 08:18 PM (GMT)
Elara gives Brian an encouraging push out onto the porch and holds the door for her sister to come through. Brian immediately runs off to jump in the snow. "Brian Eli Bronté, get your ass back here this instant!" Elara shouts to her son. Being in this area of town scared the hell out of Elara. Not for her sake, but for her sister and her son. Brian was the product of a powerful, ancient demon and Nola was trapped in the body of his wife.

Brian Ford - July 30, 2007 06:10 PM (GMT)
Brian was in love with the cold wet snow that covered the ground and the very second he was outside he lept into to. He was spinning around in circles with his tongue out, catching the falling flakes of snow. With each one that touched his tongue it mealted quickly. He kept spinning and spinning until his mothers voice boomed through the icy cold air. "No Mommy. I want to play." He said as he bent down and rolled himself a snow ball.

With a playful grin spread across his face before he sent the packed snow towards his mother, wanting to play with her. He watched the speeding ball of snow soar towards its mark, though not nearly moving fast enough for him. He narrowed his eyes and caused the ball of snow to pick up speed, as if a teenager had thrown the ball.

Elara Bronté - July 31, 2007 03:26 PM (GMT)
Elara's hands fly to her hips, her jaw set as she stares at her rebellious son. This was not going to be easy. She sighs as the snowball comes flying towards her. Her right eyebrow slides upwards as the mere thought of it sends the snowball back towards her son, aiming for his chest. "You'll have plenty of time to play when we get to Twin Magic. I'm sure your aunts will want to smother you with love and whatnot." She assures the child. Truth is, her cousins were really quite upset over the whole ordeal. She'd talked to them on the phone after Brian was born, and they didn't really know what to say about the situation. But they were supposrtive, nonetheless, as they always were. They had insisted on binding the boy;s powers, especially with how fast both they and he were growing. But Elara refused. She believed fully that nurture was strong than nature. Brian would grow to be the fiercest defendant for Good the world had ever seen.

Brian, having already already formed another snow ball, had barely seen his mother send the ball of snow back at him. As he lifted his hand to shield his face, dropping his own ball, the speading one struck him dead in the chest splattering against his blue and black winter jacket. A childish innocent laugh explodes from his lips as he dropped to the ground, forming a snow angel. He kind listened to his mother, trying her best to get him to obey her orders, but he was more focused on just having some fun.

As soon as the winter silence fell between them he got up out the snow. "Okay." He stars to drag his feet across the snow covered ground heading back to his mothers side. He didn't want to stop playing, but it seemed they would be heading to his aunts house. His face was lit up with excitment as they had a lot of magical items for him to play with.

Taking his place beside his mother he looks back into the house. "Auntie time to go." He shouted hoping she would be on her way. He was just filled with excitment at the idea of going to the famous magic shop.

Nola, the infamous Bronte sister, exits the building out onto the front porch. She closes the door behind her, hearing the click which announced that the door is locked. Not that it matters much in this world, with the amount of magic in the air; anyone could get inside if they really wanted to. The place is no Dark Haven; it has little to no magical protection around it.

“Ok, Ok, I’m coming”

Nola replies a little impatiently. She doesn’t like it when Brian begins to boss her about. He isn’t even a year old and already he’s starting to develop somewhat of an attitude. That freaky growing thing he’s got going on is not a desirable effect in her eyes, not at all. (Maybe if he didn’t grow so fast we would be more capable of controlling him…I mean, soon he’ll be getting up to teenage antics. Not good. Especially when I’m so restricted and he will be so powerful. More so than Elara and I combined I’d imagine)

Elara Bronté - September 4, 2007 09:23 PM (GMT)
Elara frowns as her sister's trapped soul walks through the doorway.

To Nola/Katina "Darling, I know you're worried, but please remember that he will be raised by you and me. Not by his traitorous father. We don't have anything to worry about. Well ... Not much."

They still had the worries of getting Nola back into her body. She had an idea that would switch the souls back, btu that would take an awful lot of power. Elara figures they will need their cousins for this. "Alright, guys, into the car." She says as she leads the two down the steps, down the path and to the driveway where the black car was located.

Brian Ford - September 7, 2007 06:33 PM (GMT)
Brian stood in silence, with an innocnet childish glow, as his aunt emerged through the doorway. He turns to face his mothers mouth wide open only to see a frown on her face. I wonder whats wrong. He was worried about his mom but was kept in the dark about what she was really feeling most of the time.

As his mother took the lead, leaving his aunt and himself on the porch he just looked up towards her with a charming smile spread across his face. "Yay....we get to go have fun, magical fun." He jumps off the porch and into the snow once again. Rising to his feet he paces himself after Elara heading towards the driveway.

Nola glances at the mother and son pair for a brief second, allowing her thoughts to remain hidden though she knew her sister always heard her thoughts, unless she really tried to block her out. Her mind rung with her sisters’ voice of semi-encouragement about the young child. However, she didn’t like the events that had just taken place and wasn’t too fond of Brian either, thought she would do what both her and her sister thought was best for the him, after all she felt all life was precious no matter who your parents were.

To Elara: It’s still going to be hard raising him. He is a handful now and what is really keeping him from tapping into his full power. Which we both know can be a dangerous thing if not checked now.

It had been hard for her to adjust to this new body, along with the new powers. It was very frustrating having such a major downgrade in power and strength on both her mind and her spirit. With a heavy sign of disbelief and uncertainty the now dark haired woman watched as Elara took charge leading them to the car, leaving the two, Brian and herself, on the stoop alone. With a firm stern look she just listened to the excitement in his voice about having fun magical fun. Harder then both of even know.

With Brian stepping down next she followed suit behind the two towards the black car that sat in the driveway.
