- Born Thomas Marion LaRoque, Trip naturally came to hate his name. He didn't even like Thomas, for that matter. He'd heard the nickname 'Trip' from TV and movies and came to like it and decided to go by Trip instead of Tom or Marion. Very few people knew of his real name. In fact, as far as he knew, the only people that knew his real name were dead. Including his parents and two brothers, who had been killed in the attack by Lavena on the town. Since then, he held a severe hatred for all demons and warlocks alike. Anything that followed Lavena or killed innocent people for no other reason than power recieved a very cold shoulder from him. He wasn't even fond of Corin since she was friends with Lavena at one point, and was part of the reason the lines between Good and Evil were drawn.
He did, however, understand what had happened at Dragon Cove and forgave the dragon riders. He was one of the very few that did, and he had to suppress it, or else face goddess knew what. Soon after the attack, Trip opened a coffee shop in the town mall. He named it "Flip's Coffee" for lack of a better name, and is looking for a better one.
