Auntie Nola gave me this book for my sixteenth birthday, so I thought I should write something in it. You know, let her see it and make her feel good about it. I really don't care. Just something to do when i'm bored. I'm gonna be alive for a while, so I might as well keep a log of what happens to me. Right? I mean, odds of me remembering something two hundred years from now is not good. I can hardly remember what happened last week. -sigh- Oh well.
I still don't have any powers yet. Mom's really worried about that. I don't blame her, though. A powerful sorcerer like her, having a powerless child? Not something that happens all the time. But then, it might have something to do with my father. Whoever he is. He could have been a mortal, and it's his fault I don't have any powers. But we'll just have to wait and see.
There's Auntie Nola. Time for meditation rituals.

Okay, so it's been a while since I've written anything. So much for that plan. Oh well. There hasn't been much to write about, really. Not much has happened in the last few months. THe dragons and their riders visit often. I love the dragons. They're quite beautiful. The red ones kinf od scare me, though. They're the ones that can spit fire. If I were to have a dragon, I'd want it to be teal. They have healing blood. Which would come in really handy in fights against the demons and warlocks. We've had several of those, lately. I think Lavena's trying to get rid of all of us. But what else is new, right? SHe's been doing that for centuries now.
Mom told me about Corin, the Queen of Vampires. That's quite the story. I'm not even really sure I understand it all just yet. She will probably tell it to me again. Perhaps this evening I will ask her to tell me again. It's quite intriguing, really. Though it has it's clicheed points. Although, nothing could really be clicheed back then, I guess.
By the goddess, I've been daydreaming too much! It's after four of the clock! I'm late for my potions class!
