    Tess was born Tessandra Elara Bronté to Dax Khane and Mardra Bronté just before the attack on the town which divided the masses and rendered Dark Haven nearly abandoned. She was forbidden to go there at first because of of the curse, but when she turned 18, she defied her parents, making accusations and took Bella to Dark Haven. After this, Mardra and Dax realized that she was her own person and nothing they could do would make her change.

    After this, Tess pretty much kept to herself, observing what went on, preparing herself for what she thought was inevitable; her leading the Cove. Over the years, her powers grew stronger and stronger, thanks to her mother and grandmother's strengths. She would eventually become as powerful as her grandmother. That is, if she hadn't had another destiny. One which no one else knew about. Not even her family. Well, maybe her grandmother knew, but she never said anything.

    In an attack by a few demons, Tess met with her destiny. She was kidnapped, and convinced to turn her back on Good, including her family and what she thought to be her destiny. This brought her more power and a sister-like friend: Tria Bloodworth. Now the two have sided with the ancient Egyptian Queen, Clea Sutekh and started a new adventure.
