Mel moves onto the front porch and his breath is taken away slightly by the bitter coldness. He was use to it having lived her for so long, though damn. He pulls his jacket around him tighter, thinking he should have gotten a bigger jacket. He shakes his head at himself, seeing his breath moving from his mouth like a white fog. He licks his lips and moves across the porch and down the steps. Hoping to not slip and fall off of them. One time is enough for that, he's not a young jitterbug anymore.
