As Mell pulls onto the snow covered road, he notices that the plows had not yet gone down this street. Which was odd, but hey. Whatever. They were probably busy with all the storms in the area.
Matthew’s face twists as he sees the road has not even been ploughed. This would only take them longer to reach their destination, something he wasn’t thrilled about. Awkward silences are one thing he detests. “I see the plows have really done their job” He mumbles sarcastically. (With all the magic in the world you’d think plows would be able to manage the streets, but no)
Mel keeps his eyes on the road and licks his lips. He shifts in his seat a little too uncomfortable. He tries to ignore the silence between them and he wonders if the whole spell incident had brought it all on. He swallows his and his hands grips on the steering wheel. He makes sure to not go sliding off the road, that would be bad. He didn't need to get this young man killed, wouldn't want to get the next in line for the Earth Element to be called earlier then expected. Though he hopes the man have at least a long and meaningful life.
He doesn't turn his head to look at the elemental, he wouldn't dare take his eyes off the road. He smiles and laughs slightly at Matthew's words. The black dodge inching closer and closer to the mall.
“I see the plows have really done their job”
"I hope that was sarcasim." He says to Matthew with a smile and finally glances quickly to him. He moves his finger to the right signal and watches as the green blinking arrow appears on his dashboard. He pulls into the Mall of Sekhment.
