Sitting alone at the booth, Cassie hums a light tune quietly to herself. She’d come into the bar to escape the cold and has ended up spending a lot more time here than she expected. She’s already had two cokes and she’s sketched out a whole new design for a beautiful layered gown in her sketch book. The design just came to her, popping into her mind as she drummed her fingers off the table in front of her. Immediately the brunette Elemental had pulled out her book and got her ideas down. In her opinion it has the starts to be one of, if not the best design she’s done yet. And now, here she still is, pulling her pencil softly over the page, sketching some of the more finer details onto the piece. The wannabe-designer has a lot of designs, all of which she has poured her time, effort and most importantly passion into, but this one has something special about it, she can tell that already. Maybe it will be the thing to make her. Fashion is a funny business, one minute you’re a nobody, and the next you’re the new ‘it’ girl. Cassie is desperately hoping she will be the latter; all her previous efforts of breaking it into the business having crashed and burned miserably.

The waitress that had been getting Cassie her drinks all afternoon returns to the table. "Anything else I can getcha, miss?" She asks, wondering why the gypsy was on this side of down. "Maybe some directions to town?" She offers with a small grin. "We don't see gypsies very often in this section of town." She explains, not wanting to insult the newcomer.

Cassie Wentz - May 19, 2007 09:55 PM (GMT)
A little startled by the waitress, Cassie looks up from her drawing. It is almost like a hypnotic process for her, when she’s sketching she can just forget about the world around her and entirely focus on what is in front of her. The Gypsy-Witch Hybrid loves it - it’s her favourite pastime beyond anything else.

“Erm…” Cassie stutters slightly, deciding if there is anything she wants. (I suppose directions couldn’t hurt…I did kinda just stray from where I wanted to end up. Not that I’m complaining, this place isn’t as bad as it looks from the outside) “Yeah, directions would be great. I’m new in town”

Cassie flashes a toothy smile towards the woman, before an after thought suddenly hits her. Her brow raises, not one to like being pegged down so easily. “What makes you think I’m a Gypsy?” (Because you’d only be half right. Well a third…if you count my Elementalness. Is Elementalness even a real word?)

The girl chuckles. "I can sense these things. I wouldn't be wondering, but I also sensed something else that I can't quite place. Witch, but something more . . . " She cocks her head, setting her pad on the table and pen in her hair. "But about those directions. Where are you trying to get?" She asks, not trying to change the subject. Cassie said she was new in town, so she wasn't surprised she'd landed here.

A small smirk play across Cassie's face as the waitress speaks. She should have known that was what it was - sensing isn’t an uncommon power after all. What brings the smile to her lips however, is that the woman couldn't quite put her finger on what she truly is. A little bit of her mystery is still in tact and Cassie enjoys that.

(Well I'm not going to fill in the blanks...Elementals are rare, very rare...and I'm not going to go advertising that I'm one to every Tom, Dick and Harry I meet. That's just asking for trouble...) The Designer muses, flicking a stray lock of her hair away from her eyes. She can recall reading in her old local paper not too long ago about a Witch with an incredibly rare power, flaunting it in the street and in everyone's faces. She was found dead, her body covered in stab wounds from where a group of people had cut her with various types of power stealing blades. Cassie sure as hell doesn't want to end up like that.

"I was trying to find a Magic store. I was told there was one, but I kinda lost my way trying to find it" The Spirit Elemental explains, feeling a little embarrassed. (By the Gods I have no sense of direction)

The girl's brows furrow a little. THere were two major magic stores in town. But she doubted that a witch would want to see Morgana. "You're probably looking for Twin Magic. I doubt you'd want anything from Lady Morgana." She adds wit ha knowing grin. "It's a bit of a walk, though. I hope you have a car. We're supposed to get a blizzard this evening. But anyway. To get to Twin Magic, you just go up Hathor Road, make a left on Cross Road, follow it to the highway and then make a right. If you pass Ra Boulevard, you've gone to far. But it shouldn't be hard to find. You can't miss it." She explains with a smile. As she speaks, she draws a crude map on her pad of paper and tears it off for Cassie. And if yo uhav eany more problem,s just give them a call. I'm sure they' dbe happy to help. "As she says this, she adds their phone number on the paper.

Cassie Wentz - May 23, 2007 05:19 PM (GMT)
(Yeah, that’s the one I heard about – Twin Magic) Cassie muses as the waitress begins to explain. Her brow does raise slightly however, wondering why the woman seems so certain that she wouldn’t be looking for anything from Lady Morgana, whoever she is. It intrigues her why the girl is so sure, what makes her think that this Morgana is of such disinterest for Cass?

She listens to the instructions, memorizing them as best as she can. (Up the road, left, straight onto the highway and then a right…I’ve think I’ve got it) A light smile washes over her lips, happy that she does in fact own a car. Snow isn’t her thing and either is the cold, thankfully a trip in her little yellow mini will prevent her from suffering at the hands of the above. “Thank you, I think I’ll manage”

“If you don’t mind me asking, who’s Lady Morgana?” Cassie enquires taking the paper with the map and number jotted down on. It is of poor quality, but the Spirit Elemental knows where she means. It surprises her just from a glance at the map, at how far she’s managed to drift from her desired location. She really needs to get her wits about this town.

The girl, about ready to meander over to her other customers, stops when she realizes that the girl still had more questions. But the posed question puzzels her. Only to a degree, though. "Not at all," She offers wit ha polite smile. "Lady Morgana is the Dark Priestess here in the Hathor Sector. Not really someone a witch would go to unless they were desperate." She explains, picking up her pad and sticking her pen in her hair. "She does the kind of things that no Good being would do. And she always has a high price to be paid. Even for those she trusts. Usually because the requests from the ones she trusts is something rather . . . . Large." She says, emphasizing the word 'large' with something like a wink.

"She's just across the street if you ever need her services. Don't bother calling. She rarely answers her phone." She offers, wondering if they were about to gain a new, powerful being for the side of Darkness. She grins inwardly, hoping that were the case. "Besides, she'll probably already know you're coming. She has that . . . Ability." She says, shrugging, her brows scrunching a little, not really sure what to call Morgana's ability to sense when someone needs her. Even if she's never actually met the person. It was odd. It was because of the Lady that she was there and not with the Goodie Two-Shoes in the main part of town.

She refocuses her attention on Cassie wit ha slight shake of her head. "Anything else, my dear?" She asks coyly, tilting her head to the side causing her long, silver earrings to sway and created a sparkling affect like diamonds.

Cassie Wentz - May 27, 2007 03:55 PM (GMT)
Cassie listens with intense interest. She’s always had a secret curiosity of the darker aspects of magic. It’s something she’s thought about many a time - about dark spells and black magic; yet it’s something she has never followed up on. It’s more of an intrigue than anything serious, and even if she did, Cass is positive it would only be for a bit of fun, nothing all big and bad.

“No, that’s all thanks…” Cassie replies, her face obviously showing her internal musings of what lies behind Lady Morgana’s doors. The waitress has certainly sparked her interest. (Maybe I could have a brief look….that couldn’t hurt) Cass gets her stuff together in a neat fashion, plopping her sketch book and other bits and bobs she had out on the table into her bag.

“You’ve been a lot of help” The Elemental hybrid thanks, holding out a rather generous tip for the woman to take. She’s ready to go, though at the moment she’s till torn on to which location she should actually venture too. (Her store is right across the road after all…It’d just be easier to pick up what I need from there…)

The waitress smiles, noting the intrigue clearly written on Cassie's face. Morgana would be pleased. The more the merrier. And the fast they could rid themselves of that wretched Lavena . . . "I'm glad I could help." She offers, waiting for Cassie to pack up, just in case she thought of something else. But when the customer offers a rather generous tip, the waitress' innards jump. An even better outcome than I'd anticipated. She takes the generous tip, never turning away money, and a wider smile crosses her face.

"If you do decide to visit her, tell her Ivonna sent you," She offers somewhat jokingly, adding a wink. Morgana would know, anyway, but it always helps to advertise. She turns, tucking the tip into the back pocket of her too-tight-too-short blue jean skirt and turns to walk off elsewhere. Come on, girl, it's so close. the demoness coaxes with her mind. She knew it would have no real affect on the girl, but it couldn't hurt to try.

Cassie Wentz - May 30, 2007 10:45 AM (GMT)
Cassie nods to the waitress as the speaks, noticing her obvious eagerness to take the tip. (Ivonna, right, hopefully that will get me some discount or something…) She muses, pulling a hand through her dark locks. (I sure could do with it…) She then throws the strap of her bag over her shoulder and heads for the front entrance.
